A fine fragrance shop you really have to sniff out
F
ar from toney Newbury Street, in a neighborhood of muffler shops and pizza joints, is an extraordinary fragrance shop, the Perfume Corner. The second-floor store has more brands and nice smells than any of the more expensive perfume stores, with amazing deals—buy one, get one free, on one side of the store on occasion, for example. And this is not flawed or closeout merchandise. It’s imported French bubble bath and eucalyptus-scented lotions, designer bath balls, and body polishes. And because it’s such a secret, you’ll often have the shop to yourself, along with its knowledgeable owner. Horton
