Playing Our Song
A music store with deals that will sound good to anyone
I
n some ways Nuggets Records looks like most other record stores. It has a low ceiling and narrow aisles, an eclectic mix of posters and cover art coating the walls, and a huge selection of vinyl. But this place hides some great secrets. There’s a CD bargain room filled with cheap blasts from the past. If you’re feeling really adventurous, pick up one of the 99-cent mystery cassette grab bags and cross your fingers while you open it. If you’re looking for something specific, odds are you won’t get lost searching. The DVD selection alone puts those other stores to shame. Enos
is, unlike the rest of the store, fairly disorganized and takes some searching.
