abe Ruth liked Suite 818 in the nine-story Myles Standish Hotel so much it was reserved just for him when he played at nearby Fenway Park. But Ruth wasn’t the only famous person who stayed in this building: Boston University graduate student Martin Luther King Jr. lived in Myles Standish Hall after it had become a BU dormitory in 1949. Hoeller
lived across the street while writing The Given Day, in which Babe Ruth plays a prominent role.
