t's easy to pass by the Trading Company, with its nebulous name, muted window displays, small space, and dark, barnboard paneling, oriental rugs, vintage mirrors, stuffed chairs, and pressed-tin lampshades that make it look like an antique store. But look again. The Trading Company sells women's fashions that are absolutely up to date—yeah, we know, in Chatham. The clothing and accessories for sale here are Town & Country chic by the likes of the Italian fashion houses Armani and Agnona, and the service is knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive.
