ambands are evolving. Electronic fetishes, prog-rock slurs, and metallic lust are the new active ingredients. The Indobox keeps this in mind without getting too distracted. This four-piece threatens to carry the party just with the sound of two guitars juiced up on classic rock’s finest spirits. But attention-hungry synth lines add a freak-friendly layer, leaving the angry axes to fight for scraps like a couple of David Gilmours at a Men at Work show. Playful hooks still find ways to sneak to the surface—thanks to spacey harmonies and a hint of reverb—it's an easy package to get addicted to. Wallace
