erklee-trained singer and songwriter Juliet Simmons has a strong, sweet voice that evokes Emmylou Harris and Lucinda Williams and a range that can do equal justice to everything from high-energy rock to mellow country-tinged ballads. In her band, Juliet and the Lonesome Romeos, she’s backed by some of the best musicians in town, including lead guitarist and prolific local producer Michael Dinallo, the rock and country licks of rhythm guitarist Jonas Kahn, and bass guitarist Justin Kolack.
