Pop electronica that will make you dance your pants off

I

f the Backstreet Boys raised Daft Punk and Goldfrapp’s baby, the kid would grow up to be Gentlemen Hall. This six-member band of Berklee grads has mastered the infectious sounds of pop electronica, and is dead set on making you dance your pants off. Live performances are anything but ordinary. If the on-stage, high-tech vocal effects using laptops aren’t enough to get the crowd riled up, there’s a flute player who doubles as a hype man. Templeton

Shhhh! Originally called Gavin John, Gentlemen Hall was revamped when a new guitarist, drummer, and flutist were brought in—and renamed for
a men’s hair pomade manufactured in the 1920s
