he secret to a delicious, toe-curlingly sour Venezuelan cocktail called the pisco sour is—mmm!—egg whites. The drink, available at Orinoco, a hidden jewel in Brookline Village (there's another a location in the South End, but you can't get pisco sours there), also contains lime juice and pisco, a South American grape-based liquor in honor of which both Peru and Chile observe national holidays. You may have to snoop long and hard to find the pisco sour anywhere else. Hoeller
