Sushi Bar
A restaurant that combines tequila with raw fish
C
ombine two of our favorite things and you get Sushi-Teq, which specializes in sushi and tequila. The buzzing restaurant hidden away in a corner of the InterContinental Boston is Tokyo-meets-Tampico in food and drink and L.A.-meets-Boston in décor, a hipster hangout a lot of locals actually don't know about. It offers a menu of 69 tequilas that you can get in any of 10 margaritas and 10 other specialty drinks to accompany sushi and sashimi served a la carte or in combos and samplers or prepared by the chefs to pair with whatever tequila drinks you order, all with live salsa and merengue music in the background. Weird, sure, but good! Carriero
and maki and discounts on cocktail samplers

Shhh who knew
The InterContinental Boston hotel stands on the approximate site of the Boston Tea Party, one vial of tea from which survives. Confiscated as evidence against a sticky-fingered patriot caught smuggling it home in the cuffs of his leggings, the tea is in the Old State House museum.
