isit Da Vinci Ristorante and you’re guaranteed authentic and freshly prepared Italian cuisine. But if you really want to be in the know, order the off-the-menu lobster gelato. The combination may sound strange, but the fresh Maine lobster ground up with milk, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla turns out to be sweet and exotic to the palate. The dessert comes in a chilled lobster tail shell, drizzled with a topping made from lobster broth and mango. Da Vinci Ristorante co-owner and executive chef Peppino was born Shingara Singh in India and lived as a teenager in Germany with an Italian family that owned a restaurant called Leonardo Da Vinci.
