Fresh Take
A family-owned restaurant with a focus on fresh
E
verything at the restaurant Maria Di Napoli is made fresh daily by Maria herself. All of it, from the specialty soups to the pizza and sandwiches to the signature tiramisu. “If she doesn’t make it, we don’t have it,” Maria’s friendly husband says. Neatly set tables adorned with floral-designed tablecloths fill the large but cozy space, along with the aroma of delicious soup and tomatoes, though many patrons pass them by and choose their food to go. The chicken noodle soup includes big chunks of fresh chicken and different kinds of pastas, depending on what Maria’s in the mood to make. The eggplant and chicken parmigiana feature the freshest of ingredients, including sweet tomato sauce and simple cheeses. Jacobson
she was six. She and her son, Antonio Ciolfi, own the store, and the rest of the friendly family works there.
