A restaurant where diners provide the cookie recipes—and eat them free
W
hen people think of Beacon Hill, they picture elegant brownstones and upscale restaurants. Now they can think: free cookies! Every Tuesday night at the cozy 75 Chestnut restaurant, executive chef Markus Ripperger serves guests a free cookie selection based on other diners’ recipes. The winner gets dinner for two. Recent champs included the triple-chocolate recipe, consisting of coco powder and chunks of milk, dark, and white chocolate. Got a sweet tooth that still won’t go away? Try Ripperger’s chocolate-themed menu on Saturday afternoons, including a free sampler with Swiss chocolate and roasted almond soup, chocolate bread pudding, and mocha mousse. Vitale and Arpie
