he Movies by Moonlight series at the Boston Harbor Hotel offers tourists and locals a chance to revisit Hollywood film classics right on the harborfront. Starting at dusk every Friday from mid June to early September, the free outdoor films on the terrace of the Rowes Wharf Sea Grille are part of the hotel’s summer series of events. There are plenty of chairs and tables, and while you can order food while you're watching the movie, you don’t have to. Moravek

Shhh who knew
Originally the site of a Puritan fort, the land now occupied by the Boston Harbor Hotel was bought in 1764 by a merchant named John Rowe and transformed into Rowes Wharf. (There is no apostrophe.) Rowe's most famous shipment was the tea dumped in the harbor by marauding colonists on December 16, 1773.
