ucked far inside the huge 19th-century Victorian Harbor View Hotel & Resort is a true island escape: Henry's, a cozy bar with great food, cold microbeers, and a view of Edgartown Harbor and the Edgartown Lighthouse. There's an all-day menu of sampler-size “small plates,” sandwiches, and cheeses (try the truffled fries with parmesan, the lobster roll with fried capers and remoulade, and the house-made pickles) and fanciful desserts, including right-out-of-the-oven tollhouse cookies that were one of the few things the owners were smart enough to save when the hotel underwent a $100 million renovation.
