ut out the middleman and buy direct from island artists and craftmakers at the Vineyard Artisans Festival, every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Memorial Day through Columbus Day, plus Thursdays and July and August and during holiday weekends, at the Grange Hall in West Tisbury. You'll find ceramics,clothing, glass, leather, home furnishings, jewelry, photography, paintings, furniture, and wood crafts, and get to speak to the artists. Make a morning of it. There's also food—and parking.
